How we began

Anson Aromatic Essentials began — informally — in 1998, simply as a way to obtain Young Living Essential Oils products at a discount.  I had been disabled for nearly thirty years, and had absolutely no inclinations toward starting a business — even if I had the capacity to do so — which I didn't.

But, as I used the Young Living oils and supplements, my strength and overall sense of well-being improved so much, I wanted to share them with others.  Then, the pieces began to fall into place, allowing me to take this passion on-line.

More than simply offering products for sale on this website, I have also worked hard, within the limitations imposed by the FDA, to make Anson Aromatic Essentials the best source of information on therapeutic-grade essential oils on the net.  It continues to be a work-in-progress, but even my competitors use it as a resource.

At the Anson Aromatic Essentials website, you will find three things:

• Reliable information about aromatherapy, including articles about essential oils and how to use them, the RainDrop Technique and why you should never use an aromatherapy candle.  I also offer great resources, such as the Essential Oils Desk Reference, videos on the RainDrop Technique and the Science & Application of Essential Oils, and a subscription form for our free email newsletter (back issues can be read online at the Members' Area of the Health-Essentials.info website).

What you will not find on this website:

There is a wealth of information about essential oils and their properties that would be of real benefit to you, but the FDA's current interpretation of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 doesn't permit me to present it to you there.  It has nothing to do with safety or science; it's about protecting the monopoly of the health industry cartel.

For that reason, much of the information on this site — especially about individual oils and their uses — is limited to vague stock phrases that offer you little real information.  I hate that, but have no other option in the present environment.

So please bear in mind that, if you're looking for some specific information about the health-promoting properties of essential oils and can't find it there, it's quite likely a matter of this censorship.  I'm sorry for that, but would be willing to try to answer your questions on an individual basis.

I've also started the Health-Essentials.info website to fill in this gap.  This site is still in its infancy, but still contains some good information.
